New Original Composition for the Air Force Academy Band

June 27 , 2010

In the spirit of his first original work for Brass Quintet and Concert Band entitled Tangents, John has completed a new work, Geometries, commissioned by the U. S. Air Force Academy Band by their conductor and commander LtCol Larry Lang. The work will feature the Academy Band's own Stellar Brass Quintet and Percussionist, and will be premiered on tours in the fall of 2010.

John just completed a new arrangement for Conductor Michael Krajewski and the vocal group Voci Vegas to be performed on several Orchestra Pops concerts this year.

John Arranges Owl City's "Fireflies" for Concert Band

In response to the massive popularity of Owl City, John has recently completed a Concert Band arrangement of Fireflies for Hal Leonard to be released later this summer.

19 Years and Counting with the Purdue University All-American Marching Band

John begins his 19th year contributing to the halftime shows of Purdue University's All-American Marching Band. The band will again be featured during the halftime of sevral Big Ten Football games in the fall of 2010.
